PornWorks Face Swap replaces a face in an image or video. The tool is technically simple, but lawful use is not. A user needs clear rights to the source face and the target media, informed adult consent for sexualised use, and a plan for secure storage and disclosure.

This guide only covers a consenting adult, a properly licensed performer or a fully synthetic identity. It does not explain how to copy a celebrity, stranger, former partner or private person.

What PornWorks Face Swap does

PornWorks promotes photo and video face replacement through its Swap route and template library. A face swap maps identity features from a source onto a target while trying to keep the target pose, expression, light and motion.

It is different from AI Characters. Face Swap changes an existing asset. AI Characters creates and reuses a fictional identity inside generated scenes.

Consent is more than permission to use a photo

For adult material, consent should cover:

• image and video use;

• how long the media can be stored;

A model release for ordinary photography may not cover synthetic adult media. Public availability is not consent. A partner sharing a selfie privately is not consent for face swapping.

Source requirements

Choose a source face with:

• one adult face only;
• clear eyes, nose, jaw and hairline;
• even light;
• limited blur;
• no sunglasses or hand covering the face;
• an angle close to the target;
• enough resolution to inspect details.

Do not upload an ID document as a face source. It exposes more personal data than the task needs.

Target requirements

The target should be authorised, synthetic or licensed. Quality is better when:

• the face stays visible;
• head turns are modest;
• lighting does not change sharply;
• the target and source have similar face angles;
• hair does not repeatedly cover the face;
• the video is short enough to inspect frame by frame.

Fast turns, heavy motion blur, objects crossing the face and coloured strobe light are common failure points.

Consent-based image workflow

1. Confirm written rights for both files.
2. Remove metadata you do not need to share.
3. Upload the authorised source face.
4. Select or upload the authorised target.
5. Check the live token cost and privacy setting.
6. Generate one draft.
7. Inspect eyes, jaw, hairline, ears and skin edges.
8. Reject a result that creates a different or younger-looking person.
9. Save only the approved version.
10. Delete temporary uploads when no longer needed.

Do not publish directly from a preview. Inspect the full exported file.

Consent-based video workflow

Start with five to ten seconds, if the interface allows trimming. A short test reveals whether the face survives movement without spending tokens on an entire file.

Review:

• the first clear face frame;
• each head turn;
• frames where hair or hands cross the face;
• the darkest and brightest frame;
• the final frame;
• audio and lip motion if the source includes speech.

A face that looks right in the thumbnail can fail for half a second during motion. That is still a failed result.

Quality scorecard

Consent is a pass-or-fail item, not a quality score that can be balanced by good rendering.

Common failures

Skin tone does not match

Use a source with similar light and reduce extreme differences between source and target. A later colour correction may help, but it should not hide a poor identity map.

The jaw edge is visible

Choose a target angle closer to the source. Avoid sources cropped tightly at the chin.

Eyes flicker in video

Use a clearer target, shorter motion and less extreme head rotation. If one section fails, do not publish the clip as-is.

The face changes age

Stop the job and reject the output. Never publish an ambiguous or underage-looking result in adult content.

Hair crosses the new face

Choose a simpler target or test a shorter segment. Local repairs across many video frames are rarely efficient.

Privacy questions to ask before uploading

Read the current PornWorks privacy policy and terms. Confirm:

• what account and technical data is collected;
• how uploaded content is used and retained;
• whether generated files begin in a private feed;
• how to delete media and the account;
• how payment appears and which processor handles it;
• how to request access or deletion under applicable law.

Face Swap versus AI Characters

For a long-running fictional creator, AI Characters is usually the cleaner option. It avoids repeatedly uploading a real identity and creates a documented synthetic subject. Face Swap is better for a limited authorised transformation where both source and target rights are clear.

If a real adult performer is involved, keep a consent record linked to every project. If the person withdraws permission under the agreement, have a removal process.

Disclosure and commercial use

PornWorks says users own generated images, but that does not grant rights to another person's face, a copyrighted target video or a platform's brand. Ownership of output and permission for inputs are separate questions.

Label synthetic or altered media when law, advertising rules or the publishing platform requires it. Never use a swap to deceive customers, fake an endorsement, impersonate a creator or bypass identity checks.

A written consent record should answer six questions

The project file should make it easy to answer:

1. Who is the source adult?
2. How was adult age verified without exposing unnecessary ID data?
3. Which exact image or video may be processed?
4. Which AI transformations are permitted?
5. Where may the output be published and monetised?
6. What happens when permission expires or is withdrawn?

Keep the record away from public exports. A checkbox collected after the media was already made is not a good substitute for informed permission before processing.

Removing an unauthorised face swap

If your likeness appears in a PornWorks output without consent, save the page URL, date and a limited screenshot. Use the service's content-removal and complaint routes. Ask the publisher and platform to preserve relevant account records while removing public access. Do not redistribute the adult media in social posts while seeking help.

Local law may provide rights based on privacy, publicity, image-based abuse, copyright, data protection or impersonation. Seek qualified legal support when the material is being used for threats, fraud or commercial gain.
